HYROX Makuhari targets ~12,000 athletes — triple Japan's debut race

Organizers announced on 21 July that they project about 12,000 athletes for AirAsia HYROX Chiba, running 6–9 August 2026 at Makuhari Messe — roughly 48% above Osaka's 8,087 finishers earlier this year, and more than triple the 3,820 who raced at Japan's debut event in Yokohama in August 2025.
